The City of Brossard has established regulations for the responsible use of outdoors irrigation, including lawn watering, pool filling, and general use restrictions.
Lawn Watering

Please note: Hose watering is prohibited on Mondays at all times.
Drought Restrictions
In the event of a drought, the municipal authority may issue a complete ban on watering for as long as deemed necessary, except for essential work such as municipal work or commercial activities.
Filling Pools
As of January 31, 2022, it is no longer possible to fill pools using fire hydrants. However, you can use a private service or a hose.
If you are planning to install a new pool, remember to obtain a building permit before starting.
